Excellent staff! I've been going to this dental office since I was in... 6th grade I think, eons ago in a galaxy far, far away. My point, I've grown to really trust Dr. Sobrepena, her husband, and that trust has extended to the rest of the staff. Since Dr. Sobrepena isn't practicing much any more my new dentist is Dr. Mercado and she has very comparable care and expertise. I've recently had to get major dental work (my useless super power is having incredibly weak teeth) and Dr. Mercado made a point to be gentle and she's generous with the anesthesia as needed. Derrick is also an excellent assistant- that pair can take on anything my problematic mouth throws at them. Another plus for me, limited water pic use! My teeth can't handle the weird sensation of that concentrated water pressure. It can hurt but I prefer the regular ol' scaling.



No one likes going to the dentist, but in a way this office has become comfortable enough that if I have to go, I'm glad to and it's like visiting extended family.



PS. They've recently renovated, the waiting area is comfy with a variety of magazines and a nice big TV with cable. Also, the facility is very clean.

I came to know about Wisdom Dental and Dr. Alvin Cenabre through a co-worker friend. My appointment was late in the afternoon on a week day. From the front desk staff who made it so easy for me to be seen after work, to the dental assistants who had some very useful oral hygiene tips to offer, to Dr. Cenabre himself who took time explaining the x-rays and the type of treatment I would need - everyone welcomed me and made me feel right at home. Dr. Cenabre actually went down the list of dental work I needed and prioritized it for me. He helped me plan for what I must take care of this year and what I could wait upon for later thereby stretching insurance coverage to the maximum and keeping out of pocket expenses to the minimum. I am glad I have found a wonderful dentist and a team of dental care providers that is warm, friendly and willing to work with me. Would highly recommend Wisdom Dental to all my friends and family.

My family and I have been coming here for a long time under the dentistry of Dr. Maria Sobrepena. I honestly was slacking in the department of regular check ups and cleanings. Which translates to, I hadn't seen the dentist in quite some time! Recently Dr. Sobrepena retired, however my wife and children continued coming here after Dr Sobrepena's departure, mainly due to the remaining staff such as Derrick, a dental assistant that has been here for quite some time. Let me start off by saying, Wisdom Dental has always had an outstanding staff! Although I've been a patient of Dr. Sobrepena for many years and really grew to trust her, the extended members of the staff were always very pleasant to speak and deal with. The office always had the sense of feeling of family. And the new dentist and its staff members are no different.



Last month I drove my wife and kids to their appointments and it was nice to see some of the remaining staff, like Derrick and of course meet some of the new staff and dentist that were there. So, with a little encouragement....okay with LOTS of encouragement, from my wife and Derrick ( the dental assistant) they performed an on the spot dental exam and gave me a long over due cleaning. After the cleaning, I made an appointment to take care of what was discovered during the exam. Well, we'll just leave the results of my exam out of this review for now! Needless to say, it wasn't good and I needed a little work done.Dr. Alvin Cenabre provided me with the very same care and expertise as my previous dentist had, if not more. I've recently had to have a little more dental work completed on my mouth and Dr. Cenabre made it all happen with the proper professionalism and care that I come to expect from this office. 



Upon entering the office, you will be greeted with a warm genuine smile from the receptionist. Wisdom Dental is a very clean environment. Its recently renovated waiting area was done over with warm welcoming colors, beautiful wall decor and other accents throughout that just put you at ease from the very moment you walk through the office door. In addition to the spruced up wall decor, the waiting area is supplied it with a variety of magazines and a new flat panel television for it's waiting patients. The staff here at Wisdom Dental are more than willing to address any questions or concerns that their patients may have. I'm not really sure if anyone really likes visiting the dentist, but I am extremely happy with my new dentist, the receptionist and the entire dental assisting staff here. I feel like it's an extended family that I am visiting instead of a dentist.

His meticulousness for Oral Care, painless, and he is very good in communicating on what he is doing . The whole staff Dr. Flora Mercado and Derek are the best in what a Dental office you are looking for.



Going to the Dentist is like to me... " walking in the Park at Wisdom Dental.

I do agree with one of the other reviewers that the change of ownership could have been better communicated to customers. But that's not a major issue.
